You presented oppression as a bad thing. If it is bad then society widely does it. Over all I don’t view it as a bad thing. It is certainly not always evil. If it is not always evil, then how is it a substitute for undeserved suffering in my previous example?

I can give a good rebuttal with the Catholic world view.

Suffering is good. Unwanted suffering is good, necessary and even a gift from God. All of the most well known saints have suffered in the most horrible ways, sometimes at the hand of the very Church they served.

It isn’t an exact opposite because suffering isn’t the highest good, but it does reverse most of the leftist world view. If even suffering is good, useful and profitable - then ALL of existence and creation is good and right. Erasing people from it without a very good cause is evil. Lying and every other sin is evil because they all twist and distort a persons relationship with existence.

I could probably expand on this more if needed, but I am wore out. I am juggling work and posting… Whew, oh how I suffer for you…

I really don’t argue in bad faith for starters. I’m sure I am unpleasant to people who think that anyone who disagrees with them is unpleasant. I tend to disagree with many people.

I can’t help what other people do. Yes I laugh at a lot of memes that are at the left’s expense, but I never have and never will call them stupid.

I think I am starting to understand the lefts position so it is not totally bewildering to me, but the left and the right operate in two completely different paradigms. That is why communication is next to impossible.

If you can’t make the argument logically all you’re left with is force. Once the left gained ascendancy they couldn’t hide behind the equal rights schtick. Their argument was always ‘we just want the same as everyone else and to be left alone.’ Most people were fine with that and from a secular world view it makes sense.

Now they just want to control everything and end civilization - but they are still using the same old 'Leave us alone, don’t be mean arguments." That doesn’t hold. They have no argument, so force is all they have.

More to the point, they have no argument, and they know it. But they still want all the power. All they can do is name call, bully and censor. Welcome to the world of echo chambers. They know their position doesn’t make sense logically - but with enough dead bodies they can prop their ideology up.
