I recently posted from another instance to communities outside that instance and while I was not censored by the instance from which I posted, I got tons of negative comments from Marxists. The trolls on Lemmy seem overwhelming.

Trump gave the people the death jab, and fiscal irresponsibility, authorizing $3 trillion in COVID spending, sending thousand dollar checks to people who sustained no financial loss, signing a tax cut that was not paid for thereby skyrocketing the deficit. People’s President my butt. He largely screwed the people. Now he’s defaming a better man than him. It’s despicable. If he were nominated, it would not only be him that would lose. He would take down other Republicans in droves. If he were to be nominated it would likely result in a more Democrat Senate and control of the House returning to the Democrats.

I’m a long time evangelical Protestant who has attended a variety of churches and I recognize what you describe as a heresy known as antinomianism. James teaches that faith without works is dead and dead faith does not save. Also, much of the book of 1 John teaches against antinomianism, e.g.

It is also a threat to public safety, motorists on dope can be as dangerous as drunk motorists. Also, people intoxicated on either dope or alcohol are more likely to commit crime than sober individuals. There are studies that show an increased likelihood of schizophrenia with marijuana use. People with schizophrenia are more likely to commit crimes and require either incarceration or treatment at public expense.

As I said in another thread, It’s easy to differentiate between differences of opinions and personal insults and attacks. I have no problem nixing the personal attacks but perhaps the user block feature is sufficient for that. I don’t think I have sufficient experience on the platform to determine whether personal blocking is a sufficient solution. Not knowing any better, I made some posts from an account on a left leaning instance which apparently betrayed that I was not down with the Marxist, agenda and someone attempted to dox me, asking users to send me harassing emails and phone calls. From that experience, I learned to maintain a higher degree of anonymity on this platform.

Trump definitely cucked out by handing over his administration to Birx and Fauci and the Swamp in the final year. He also needs to get a clue about the reality of the death jab. Trump would have more success convincing people that he would do better in a second term if he would admit the mistakes he made in his first term. Unfortunately, it seems apparent that Trump is incapable of admitting mistakes.
