Really motivates me to get more into nostr. I started writing some code this morning. Little by little and if someone else finishes one first I’ll just improve on theirs.

The only thing people can do, is block you. That’s it. That’s why I go on there to troll people.
The only shitty thing is a lot of the relays (instances) area all about fucking Bitcoin. That’s the only reason why I started trolling on there because the Bitcoin shit is fucking annoying.
Do you know which or are there even any, relays that are not about bitcoin. I’ve tried finding a website that lists them with a description and I can’t find anything with a break down like that
I don’t really love any of those tbh. But it’s great to see progress and I want to join in in that. I think I’m just gonna write another UI with parts from Lemmy.

Yeah I think I would focus on communities. Probably make it look a lot like here. Maybe a little more simple at first.

The solution to the defederation problem. Or it has the potential to be so.
If you think of the fediverse as one universe with rules you can think of the nostr verse as another universe with a different set of rules.
To put the problem simply,
In the fediverse people want to hear you speak but they can’t because the admin doesn’t allow them to hear you.
In nostr, the admin does not have that power.
Right now all they talk about is is bitcoin over there so it’s not to popular. But as the tech gets better the people will too.

There are attempts to add communities to nostr, e.g. satellite earth, nostr.kiwi, and zapddit.com
